So today in class...
one of my 7th graders continued to say the word Jesus over and over again. And then she said that she would like to be named Jesus because she has raised from the dead. I debated over saying anything but did...I said, "I am slightly offended by that because of the relationship that I have with Jesus. Please be careful when talking about him." The class went silent and it was awkward for a moment but it was well worth it.
